Kvernufoss

Kvernufoss is a beautiful 98 feet high waterfall that is half hidden away in a gorge in South Iceland. During our hike in, we passed some Icelandic horses, a unique breed of smallish horses that came to Iceland with the first settlers from Norway 1,100 years ago.
