Perlan

In 1939, a single hot water tank was constructed on Öskjuhlíð hill in Reykjavík, supplying water anywhere in Reykjavík – even to the hill where Hallgrímskirkja church stands today. In the next two decades, five more tanks rose beside the first one. In 1991 these tanks were converted to Perlan, the museum and observation deck. These are two of the tanks, as well as views to Hallgrímskirkja and Fosshotel from Perlan observation deck. Mix of visible light and infrared photography.
