Hallgrímskirkja

Hallgrímskirkja is a Lutheran parish church in Reykjavík, Iceland. It is the largest church in Iceland and among the tallest structures in the country. The church is named after the Icelandic poet and clergyman Hallgrímur Pétursson, author of the Passion Hymns. Exterior and interior details, including the organ. It is the largest concert organ in the country, and organ was financed substantially by private gifts – people were offered the opportunity to purchase individual pipes.
